While living in South Africa this was a real passion of mine. The faint image in the background is me on a bend in the mountainous Eastern Transvaal region, this area is now known as Mpumalanga The bike is a Suzuki TL1000R, a V twin superbike, it's slighly modded, straight through cans, air filter, air box and re-mapped. A group of friends and I spent many an adrenalin pumping weekend in the region, sadly a couple of friends did get badly hurt over the years. I have many fond memories and this is the only thing I truly miss about SA, my friends and my bike.

The photo below is a Nikon D70 Digital SLR. This is the one I used for most of the photo's on the site, please remember that any photo's on the site are greatly reduced in size and quality. I've had it for almost a year nowd70 copy and am constantly amazed by it's capabilities. I've still got a long way to go even to just learn the finer points of the camera settings, I hope joining the photo club is going to help.

to entertain those without the disease, and in the process to raise much needed funds.
